INDIANAPOLIS - Former Brenham High School track star Andra Manson has been selected to represent the United States in the high jump at the 2009 IAAF World Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Berlin, Germany Aug. 15-23.

Manson, who also represented the United States in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, is one of three high jumpers competing for Team USA.

It will be the first time Team USA has returned to Berlin for a major championship competition since the 1936 Olympic Games, where National Track & Field hall of famer Jesse Owens won......
