Stuttgart - German high-jumper Ariane Friedrich has set her sights on the London 2012 Olympics after an Achilles tendon

rupture will sideline her for the next season.

'I will be back in top form for the Olympics,' Friedrich told Tuesday's edition of the Bild daily.

Friedrich suffered the severe injury in her left foot

during training on December 22. The injury was not made public immediately and Friedrich underwent surgery in a Frankfurt hospital.
