Career Highlights

2007:  Jumped in one meet the Tyson Invite indoors jumped 2.11m.

2003:  Jumped in the Razorback Invite and had a season best 2.25m (7-4.5) jump.  Went on to the USA indoor champs where he jumped 2.24m (7-4.25) to finish 6th.

2001:  Had an early season jump indoors of 2.25m (7-4.5) in Fayetteville.  Won the SEC Championships with 2.18m (7-1.75).   Then went to the indoor NCAA Champsand jumped 2.26m (7-5) to place 3rd.  Outdoors Won the Texas Relays and the SEC Champs with 2.25m (7-4.5).  Placed 3rd at the NCAA Champs with 2.24m (7-4.25) and 12th at the USA Outdoor champs with 2.18m (7-1.75).  Finished the season with best jumps of 2.25m (7-4.5) Outdoors and 2.26m (7-5) Indoors.

2000:  Indoors jumped 2.26m (7-5) at both the Tyson Invite and the SEC Championships to win both meets.  Finished 2nd with a PB jump of 2.31m (7-7) at the NCAA Indoor Champs.  Outdoors jumped 2.28m (7-5.75) at Texas Relays to place 2nd.  Won a meet in Columbia (2.28m 7-5.75) and a meet in Fayetteville (2.30m, 7-6.5).  Placed 2nd at both the Penn Relays (2.25m, 7-4.5) and SEC Champs (2.21m, 7-3).  At the NCAA Outdoor champs he was 3rd 2.25m, 7-4.5.  Finally the Olympic Trials came where he placed 3rd with a 2.27m (7-5.25) jump.  This was good enough for him to make the USA Olympic team in Sydney, Australia.  At the games he made the finals and fished 13th with a 2.20m (7-2.5) jump.  Finished the season with best jumps of 2.31m (7-7) indoors and 2.30m (7-6.5) outdoors.
